BAMBOO WHISK
The bamboo whisk (chasen) is a simple accessory that makes a noticeable difference in your drinking experience.
Traditionally carved from a single piece of bamboo, it features finely crafted prongs designed to create the signature silky texture and delicate foam.
This method allows the tea’s full aroma and texture to unfold, and is suitable for preparing both usucha (thin matcha) and koicha (thick matcha).

WHY YOU NEED IT
While electric frothers can mix the powder, a traditional whisk allows you to fully unlock the texture, aroma, and character of the tea.
It makes a noticeable difference in your matcha experience.
How to Use & Care for Your Bamboo Whisk
Before use
Gently soften the whisk by placing the prongs in a bowl of warm water for a few seconds. This helps the bamboo open and become flexible.
After use
Rinse the whisk with water to remove any residue. Do not use soap. Then, allow the whisk to air dry completely.
